The house I am staying in is in France. It was first owned by the prince's doctor and then after the walls of sancerre were brought down a Scottish family lived here and the father in that family was the king's personal bodyguard. Next it passed to a bank until it was sold to a language school and that is exactly what we're doing now.

Templars in Akko

Mr Land asked what was secret about the secret Templars in Akko. So I thought I'd put the answer on my blog.

In the castle of Akko, where the crusaders had a very good foothold, the tunnels had moss, thin walls, and low ceilings. It was an escape route to get from the middle of the castle to the outside. The tunnels were secret so the enemy couldn't take advantage of them.

These days, you don't get to see much of the castle, since most of it has wooden planks over it because the archeologists want to preserve it. But what we saw was very well preserved and was a great place for hide and seek and chasing Evan.

The ruins actually were from Greeks, then the Romans, then the Crusaders. But you think of the ruins as Crusader ruins for two reasons. One, those ruins are at the top, and two, that's where all the actual buildings are.

Battleheart

The game called battleheart is very good for the iPad or iPhone because you can move characters around and attack enemies. Their is the armory in which you can obviously arm your choice of characters. There is also the merchant where you can bye or sell loot. The keep where your unselected characters wait. And lastly the tavern where you hire the characters.

Legoland

IN Legoland, there is a Lego model of Berlin, which has the Berlin Wall being knocked down. There is even a car that crashed into the Wall trying to get it down. On the second floor, there's pirates and pirate boats. You can steer and crash with these. On the third floor, there's dragons. There's a ride which goes round a curve and then down, round another curve, up, and then that's the end. But... when you go up, there are two dragon bits, one the tail, next the head.

And down the bottom floor there's a cafe and a playground. I made some friends there. They were called Sam and Sebastian.

Childrens museum

The children museum in Berlin is very fun. You can run around like lunatics with adrenalin in every vein in your body. It's more an inside huge playground. The playground has everything from two large towers to a tiny space to squeeze into to get to another wooden room. There's a cafe with very yummy ham and cheese rolls.
