Phantom of Destiny

Chapter 1 The Prince's Birthday
"What's my present" the prince said eagerly. It was the prince's birthday.  And then, "you will have a whole army at your reserve" thundered the Emperor. "And now I present to you a buddha made of pure gold" the Queen said softly. The Prince's birthday was the second biggest celebration in China. Just then, a messenger ran in, gasping for breath. "The Japanese are invading" panted the messenger. "They're coming here tomorrow. I heard some soldiers talking about it." The Forbidden City! Why they're fools.
The crowd gasped in surprise. "We need an army!" the Emperor shouted, "Any volunteers?" 20,000 men had volunteered. There were 11,000 other soldier. So that makes 31,000 soldiers. Using spies they worked out that the Japanese had 30,000 soldiers. Nothing could go wrong.
Chapter 2 The Battle
In the morning Chinese troops were in rows and rows and rows outside the Forbidden City. The Japanese were not yet here. The troops waited. An hour, two hours, three hours, four hours. Then the Japanese came on the fifth hour. Caught off guard and playing chinese checkers, troops quickly hurried to their postions. The Japanese were charging, and the Chinese were going for a defensive position. And then when they were just a room length away from each other, the battle started.

Book 2 Japanese Rule
Chapter 1 Bad Chances
As we all know the battle raged on. The first vital mistake was taking a defensive position. When the Chinese did this, there were only 20,000 soldiers and because they did this, there were only 10,000 soldiers left to the superior number of 20,000 Japanese soldiers.

One week after the battle, embers were rising from the ground. The burnt ground had burnt weapons sticking up from below. The Japanese had won.

Chapter 2 Secret Service
The Japanese had won, they had captured China and then killed the Emperor and the Empress. Luckily the Prince managed to escape. Then he set up a Secret Service. Of course, the Japanese did not know this. He showed the Japanese rulers what they had done and after 300 years they eventually left.  Then the Prince struggled all the way to the throne. He realised he had no Empress, Princess or Prince, so he set up some contests for the most beautiful woman, the second most beautiful woman, and the most handsome man.
